infrastructure and environment to students, Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation in partnership with Concentrix Daksh Services India Private Limited (CNX), Gurugram, under the Sahyog school adoption program today inaugurated the Government Middle School in Silokhera, Gurugram. Over 500 school students will directly benefit from this initiative. Indirect beneficiaries will include over 2000 community members/family members of the students impacted.
The inaugural ribbon was cut by Ms. Sheel Kumari Block Education Gurugram (Haryana), Mr. Ravinder Rana, Senior Vice President India, ASEAN & ANZ Delivery and Operations Concentrix, and Kushal Raj Chakravorty, Founder and Managing Trustee, Lotus Petal Foundation, followed by a school tour and special address by the dignitaries
The Sahyog program was started by Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation in 2018. Under this program, Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation works in partnership with corporates to improve the pre-existing infrastructure and learning facilities of Government Schools of India.The Government Middle School in Silokhera, Gurugram was adopted under the Sahyog program in 2020 by Lotus Petal Foundation and has been revamped and repaired in the last 1.5 years to provide proper learning facilities to the students. Infrastructural development undertaken under the project included renovation of the school building, electrical work, building and classroom painting, installation of blackboards and soft boards, school kitchen renovation, installation of the computer room, RO and water cooler, tiles flooring and interlock bricks in the playground, rain waterproofing and new toilet construction.BEO, Gurugram Ms Sheel Kumari said “It is remarkable how Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation and Concentrix have revamped the school infrastructure by giving a complete makeover to the school building, classrooms, school kitchen, toilets and installed the computer labs to give dignified learning facilities to the 500 students. Kushal Raj Chakravorty, Founder and Managing Trustee, Lotus Petal Foundation said “Partnering with government schools is an integral part of our strategy to enable quality education opportunities for many more children. Our interventions are high impact, systemic and help supplement the existing on the ground efforts. We also give education support in line with the New Education policy 2020 to the Government Middle School in Silokhera. Teachers are sent to take classes on spoken and written English, art, theatre and sports.”

All contributions made to Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation under the Sahyog program qualify for CSR contribution under section 135 of the companies Act 2013.
