“Kaam Kiya Hai, Kaam Karenge” will be the slogan of my election campaign for the North West Delhi Lok Sabha election—Dr Udit Raj

Congress candidate of INDIA Alliance for the North West Delhi Lok Sabha Dr. Udit Raj, while addressing a press conference at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, here today, said that he was seeking votes from the residents of North West Delhi on the basis of the works he had done when he represented the constituency in Parliament from from 2014-2019, when he tried his best to bring all- round development in the area. He said that many big schemes were also approved for the development of the area when he demitted office, but the BJP MP who successes him to represent North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency in Parliament, set the clock back by not only stalling all development works, but also deliberately not starting works on the projects which had been given sanction when he was an MP.

Dr Udit Raj said that Hans Raj Hans, who represented North West Delhi in the Lok Sabha after him, could not even start many of the schemes that had been sanctioned, though the votes were sought by Hans in the name of Modi and yet again, the BJP candidate was seeking votes in the name of Modi. He said that if the BJP candidate wins, the same mistake will be repeated with the new MP failing to get any development works going. He said that he was a Congress candidate of India Alliance, and if it forms a Government at the Centre, the Guarantees given in the Nyay Patra of the Congress will not only be fulfilled, but the work mentioned below in North –West Delhi will be done on a priority basis.

Chairman of the Communications Department Shri Anil Bhardwaj, ex-MLA said that the Vision Document prepared by Dr Udit Raj will be implemented in toto in North West Delhi to resume the development works in the area. He said that the BJP MPs had no report card to show in their favour as they did not do any work in the past 10 years, and that was the reason BJP was forced to change six of their seven sitting MPs this time too.
