Zee TV recently launched the world’s first-ever
music league championship. While the world of sports has seen several league
competitions, this unique music league has six teams representing different regions
of India, battling it out against each other in a musical championship. Each of these
six teams supported by leading Bollywood and sports celebrities has top playback
singers as their captains, one reality show star, and one fresh voice. Celebrated
singers – Mika Singh, Kailash Kher, Sajid Khan, Shaan, Ankit Tiwari, Javed Ali,
Asees Kaur, Bhoomi Trivedi, Akriti Kakar, Payal Dev, Neha Bhasin, Shilpa Rao are
captains of these six zonal teams.

The upcoming episode of Indian Pro Music League is surely going to be nothing
short of a delight for the viewers as the ambassador of UP Dabbangs, Suresh Raina
will be seen sharing the stage with Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra. While the
show was filled with power-packed performances from the captains and team
members of Punjab Lions and UP Dabbangs, the highlight of the evening was the
celebration of Team India winning the Cricket World Cup 2011, 10 years ago. While
paying a tribute to this glorious moment and to the Indian Cricket Team, Suresh
Raina couldn’t help but go down the memory lane reminiscing the biggest moment
when he felt even more proud to be an Indian!

Recalling the memory, Suresh said, “A win in a team sport is not just of an individual
but of an entire team which comprises of coaches, team members and every single
person who is connected with the team. I still remember the moment when we were
in our last over and everyone was praying with their heart and soul that we win this
match. As soon as that happened, it was the most surreal experience for us as the
entire stadium was singing ‘Vande Mataram’ with their mobile flashlights swaying in
the air. That is the moment all of us had a feeling that we had truly made our country
proud.”

To see how everything went down, tune into the Indian Pro Music League, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV
