Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch. Anil Kumar said that despite there being clear evidence of corruption to the tune of thousands of crores by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister/Excise Minister Manish Sisodia in the implementation of the Liquor Policy, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has not raided the establishments connected with Sisodia, who is the No 1 accused in the liquor scam.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that the confident manner in which Manish Sisodia says that the CBI and ED raids will not find anything incriminating from his premises shows that he has struck a deal with the BJP, to slow down or even scuttle the probe against him. He said that Sisodia had claimed that the new liquor policy will fetch huge revenue to the exchequer, but it only fattened the pockets of the liquor mafia and Kejriwal and Sisodia, instead. He said that Kejriwal and Sisodia, who got 80 per cent of the revenue from liquor sales, which should have otherwise gone into the coffers of the Government, were daring the probe agencies, which proves some kind of deal with the BJP, to scuttle the CBI probe.
