The movie stars Anurag Kashyap and Mishti Chakraborty are lead roles along with Hemant Kher and Rakesh Chaturvedi and many others who have been seen in supporting roles.
The trailer looks very promising and intriguing. The film is a crime thriller loosely based on some true events that shook Assam in the 90s. Shadow Assassins is the story of Nirbhay Kalita, a young ambitious boy from 90’s Assam. He is sucked into a journey of vengeance as his whole family is assassinated by unknown assailants on a fateful winter night. He gets dragged into the chain of violence and a path of darkness engulfs his dream. This senseless loss leaves Nirbhay with a zeal to correct the wrong. But a wrong that in itself is a dragnet dragging one into a well of more violence and a path which has no light at the end of it.
