Mohit Chauhan releases ‘Musafir’ his new music album under first ever Indo-Mongolian Music collaboration


Musafir’ the new Music Album released under Mohit Chauhan Music is his 5th studio album was releasedby Shri Kiren Rijiju ji, Union Minister of Earth Sciences. Smt Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture was the Guest of Honor. As people cheered for the song, Shri Kiren Rijijuji said, “the song will go a long way in building the relations between the two countries. We would like to have more people visit Mongolia and people from Mongolia visit India. Smt Meenakshi Lekhi said “the two countries share friendly relations for centuries. People remember Mongolia for Genghis Khan but despite being a warrior he never attacked India for the friendship the two countries shared.

Mohit Chauhan while talking about the making of the song remembered how in 2019he travelled with the Indian delegation carrying the relics of Lord Buddha. He went on to add“soon people will hear 6 songs with Mongolian collaboration which were recorded in Ulan Batar and Delhi at his Silk Route Studio. He wished Peace and Love to All especially people in Mongolia as they celebrate their New Year Tsagaan Sar.” The album ‘Musafir’ has 10 songs. The first of the song was released today on Losar which is the beginning of New Year in Mongolia. It is a gift from the celebrated singer and marks the celebration of 69 years of friendship which completes 70 years in 2025. The song released today is called ‘Duur’.
