NEW DELHI, October 3, 2022–Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ch Anil Kumar said that with Delhi having the festival season now, it was shocking that accumulated garbage could be seen everywhere MCD a completely failed to remove the accumulated garbage, and help people breath easy specially when the Navratri festival is going on.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that it was no surprise that Delhi has fallen in the latest national cleanliness ranking as neither the BJP nor the AAP cares for the cleanliness or upkeep of the Capital, as their elected representatives like MPs, MLAs and ex-Councillors make little effort to ensure cleanliness of Delhi. He said that due to the presence of garbage waste and stagnant water, mosquito menace has become dangerous with Dengue and Malaria cases rising sharply in the Capital in the recent weeks.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal indulges in political stunts like inviting a Dalit family of Gujarat to Delhi to have lunch with him but he doesn’t make any effort to get the funds for salaries of sanitation workers of Delhi.
