New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairman – Shri Amit Yadav inaugurated Annual Inter-Departmental Sports Competition 2023-24 for Officers/Employees of NDMC, at Talkatora Cricket Ground, New Delhi in the presence of Council Member- Smt. Vishakha Shailani.
NDMC Employees Sports Meet, Shri Yadav emphasized the importance of positive aspects of sports and physical activities and said that such tournaments not only help employees cognitive function but also improve the sharpen focus and concentration.
Shri Yadav also added that sports and games activities help to inculcate and develop a sense of responsibility, discipline, optimism among the employees and are the synonyms of team spirit, which always boost up the morale of an individual in its personal or organizational life.
On this occasion, he also administered the oath to the sportsperson and appealed to play the games in a sportsman spirit. An inaugural cricket match was held between the Chairman XI team and Secretary XI team.
