NDMC organised Painting Competition for the 300 students under the Rose Festival.

NDMC Rose Festival 2024, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) organised a Painting Competition for the school students on the theme of ‘Blooms in NDMC’ at India- Africa Friendship Rose Garden, Shanti Path, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi today.

The Painting Competition was organised in the lush green area of Rose Garden with the bloomed roses of different varieties. The competition was attended by 300 students of NDMC and Navyug Schools in the two categories. First category included the students of 6th and 7th class while in category second included the students of 8th and 9th class.

NDMC Rose Festival which was open for all for six days from 2nd to 7th March, 2024 in which more about 75 varieties of roses are displayed for the public. It not only showcases the beauty but also enhances the environment with the fragrance of the New Delhi area.
To celebrate the Spring Season in the New Delhi area, New Delhi Municipal Council is organising a series of events like Tulip festival, Music in the Park, Flower Festival, Rose Festival and Food Festival.

Vice – Chairman NDMC Shri Satish Upadhyay felicitated the winners students of the Painting Competition in each category for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and ten consolation prizes in each category.

Chief Vigilance Officer – Ms. Garima Singh, Director (Education) – Shri R.P Sati, Director (Horticulture) – Shri Rais Ali and Shri Jitender Dabas,Chief Security Officer- Shri KS Lohan and teachers were present.
