NDMC awarded for All India Clean city Rank 7th and Cleanest City within Union Territory (> 1 Lakh category)Under the  Swachh Survekshan 2023, along with a 5 Star Garbage Free City Ranking and Water Plus Certified City in a function held by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India in New Delhi today.

The Swachhta Awards were handed over by Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Hon’ble Minister of MOUHA Shri Hardeep Singh Puri at the ceremony attended by Chief Minister Indore , Chief Minister Chattisgarh and numerous other dignitaries, including various Urban Development Ministers from States, Mayors, Mission Directors, Municipal Commissioners and City Officials from various States and Union Territories across the country.

On behalf of NDMC, the award was received by Chairperson – Shri Amit Yadav, Secretary – Shri Krishna Mohan Uppu,  Medical Officer Health –  Dr Deepak Mittal, Nodal Officer & CMO- Dr Shakuntala Shrivastava, Chief Engineer ( Civil ) , Shri Sanjay Arora and Executive Engineer ( Swachhta ), Shri CL Meena. While congratulating the Team NDMC, Shri Yadav also said that we have moved two ranks since last year from number 9 to number 7. We need to continue with dedication and focus to improve to provide best all round services to New Delhi.

Along with the Swachh Survekshan 2023 awards, NDMC remains committed to maintaining its high standards in urban sanitation and is dedicated to further initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being of its residents.This recognition underscores NDMC’s unwavering commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene.
