The current religious persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh followed the political coup in which the 10th elected Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee Dhaka on 5th August 2024 & replaced by Mohammad Yunus.

The persecution of countless Hindus, stripping them of security, dignity and their lives follows on large scale. The recent arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, Spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatan Jagaran Jote in Bangladesh is a matter of deep concern.

This meeting aims to shed light on these ongoing struggles, honor the resilience of minorities and foster dialogue towards justice and greater protection for minority rights with the Bangladesh government. We demand Bangladesh Government for the safety & security of Hindus and all minorities for their right to freedom of speech & dignity of life.
