U.P. Demanded answer from the government, said if we have to bathe in Ganga ji stained with cow remains and blood, then what is the need of Kumbh – Computer Baba

New Delhi: Amid the preparations for Maha Kumbh-2025, there is deep resentment among the saints and sages over the increasing cases of cow slaughter in Uttar Pradesh. Mahamandaleshwar Computer Baba, while addressing a press conference at the Press Club of India in New Delhi today, made serious allegations against the policies of the government and administrative officials and put forward three major demands. He said that there were hopes of protecting Sanatan Dharma and its values under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, but this trust seems to be breaking due to the increase in cow slaughter cases. Computer Baba, especially referring to the 340 tonnes of beef caught recently in Gautam Buddha Nagar, called it a ‘blow’ to Sanatan Dharma. He said that this beef was being supplied illegally in the name of buffalo, which includes the brutal killing of thousands of cows. Baba claimed that the remains and blood of this beef are being thrown into the river Ganga, polluting the sanctity of the Ganga. Computer Baba has warned the Uttar Pradesh government to organize a Dharma Sansad, warning of a big agitation in the entire country including Ghaziabad if the demands are not met by December 16, 2024. Along with this, Mahamandaleshwar has asked the government and Shankaracharya that how can saints bathe in the Ganga water stained with cow remains and blood? If the saints have to bathe in the Ganga ji stained with cow remains and blood, then what is the need for saints to go to Kumbhab, we will bathe in the slaughterhouse itself.

Dr. Rajesh Ojha, Maharaj Peethadheeshwar, Maa Ganga Seva Samiti President Dr. Ravish Tyagi, Acharya Madhur Das Ji Maharaj (Ramayani Ji), Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha Rajiv Kumar Ashish, Mahant Ramcharan Das Ji, Mahant Amar Das Ji, Mahant Vivek Das Ji, Mahant Mahesh Ji were also present in this press conference.

Questioning the preparations for Maha Kumbh-2025, he said that Ganga water is no longer fit for drinking. He warned that if the remains of cows continue to be found in the Ganga, it will prove to be a big crisis for Sanatan Dharma. Computer Baba has sought answers from the Uttar Pradesh government by placing three major demands:

1. What arrangements has the government made in the Maha Kumbh for bathing in Ganga water stained with blood and beef? Shankaracharya, Akharas should tell whether the virtues will not be destroyed by bathing?

2. Legal action should be taken by running bulldozers on the factories and cold storages of Ghaziabad and other places involved in cow smuggling and action should be taken against the culprits under the National Security Act (NSA).

3. Cows should be given the status of ‘Rajmata’ in Uttar Pradesh, as the Maharashtra government has done earlier.

Computer Baba appealed to all the saints and mahants to give such guidance before bathing in the Maha Kumbh according to the scriptures so that the virtues of the devotees are not destroyed. He warned the government that if their demands are not met by December 16, 2024, they will organize a Gau Dharma Sansad in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad and decide their strategy. During this, even if the saints lose their lives, they will not back down, and the state government will be responsible for it.

This matter is indicating a confrontation between the saints and the government on the issue of cow slaughter in Uttar Pradesh. Now all eyes are on the next action of the government on the questions of the sanctity of an important religious event like Maha Kumbh and the protection of Mother Gau.
