Vishwarang Symposium Celebrates Hindi’s Global Impact with vishwa mein Hindi and International Honors”

Vishwarang, a global platform that celebrates Indian literature, culture, art, music, and cinema, in collaboration with Vanmali Srijan Peeth- an initiative inspired by the writing journey of Vanmali Ji to encourage litterateurs, proudly hosted the prestigious national symposium “Vishwarang Vimarsh” at the Sahitya Academy. The central theme of the symposium was “Vishwarang: Reflections and Future Vision,” and featured the highly anticipated launch of the book ‘Vishwa Mein Hindi,’ a comprehensive exploration of the growing presence of Hindi in sixty-five countries worldwide.
Shri Santosh Choubey, Director of Vishwarang, said, “The launch of ‘Vishwa Mein Hindi’ is a significant step in celebrating the global relevance of Hindi. Through this book, we aim to highlight the growing influence of Hindi language and create a deeper connection with its rich heritage across borders. In addition to the book launch, the symposium facilitated dynamic discussions on Hindi literature and culture. Renowned literary figures such as Anamika, Leeladhar Mandloi,Mahadev Toppo,Ashok Bhaumik,Divya mathur,Jawahar Karnawat,Dr. Janki Prasad Sharma, Balendu Dadhich,DevendraRaj ankur,Rabindra tripathi,Vijay kumar Malhotra and Jitendra Srivastava participated in thought-provoking dialogues on the importance of Indian languages, translation, and cultural representation. A special film screening on Vishwarang’s journey added a captivating visual element to the event.This ambitious initiative not only promotes Hindi literature but also serves to honor international authors and academicians, who will be honored with prestigious international accolades. The competition, often referred to as the Hindi Olympiad, is set to deepen engagement with Hindi and strengthen its presence in schools and academic institutions worldwide.
The symposium also introduced the International Hindi Award, a new initiative to honor contributions to Hindi literature and education on a global scale. This award aligns with Vishwarang’s mission of promoting international authors and fostering a global appreciation for the language. Competition, Vishwarang continues to shape a future where Hindi stands tall on the global stage, uniting people through shared literary and cultural heritage.
