The petty political statements being continuously made by “AAP” and Congress leaders regarding gas cylinder supply are akin to anti-national activities
Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva has stated that the petty political statements being made by Aam Aadmi Party and Congress leaders regarding gas cylinder supply are, in a way, comparable to anti-national activities.
Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that there is a shortage of gas and oil to varying degrees in countries ranging from neighboring Pakistan and Sri Lanka to developed nations. However, perhaps India is the only country where the opposition, by staging protests and exaggerating the shortage, is indirectly encouraging black marketing.
The Delhi BJP President further stated that due to the Gulf war, oil and gas shortages are being seen across three-fourths of the world. The Government of India, through its policy measures from the very beginning, has managed to keep the impact of the shortage very limited. Today, almost all citizens are receiving regular gas cylinder supply upon booking. It is unfortunate that the political opposition is trying to find opportunities even in an international crisis.
Shri Virendra Sachdeva also stated that the Government of India ensured that there was no shortage of cooking gas during Eid celebrations or Navratri feasts, and will continue to ensure that there is no shortage during the Shri Ram Navami celebrations as well.
The Delhi BJP President added that after an initial shortage of about one week, almost all hotels, restaurants, and dhabas in Delhi and across the country are now open and receiving regular gas supply.
