On the occasion of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh’s birth anniversary, National President of National Akali Dal Paramjit Singh Pamma paid tribute to him and demanded from the government that Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ashfaqullah Khan, Ram Prasad ‘Bismil’ and other revolutionaries who lost their lives for the freedom of the country should be given the status of martyr.
Paramjit Singh Pamma said that if the government announces to give martyr status to the revolutionaries on this day, then there can be no greater tribute than this. Because whenever the birthday or martyr’s day of any revolutionary comes, we always demand this from the government.
Paramjit Singh Pamma said that he will run a movement in which all social, political and religious people will be included and an advertisement will be sent to the Prime Minister and Home Minister in which he will demand to give the revolutionaries the status of a martyr.
